With grateful thanks to Elin Bornemann, the collections officer at the museum, members of the group had an after-hours visit to the museum to see the display of silver. Jackie Smith gave a talk about the silverware and plate in the museum and Elin gave a talk about the museum itself.
Drinks and nibbles made our visit all the more enjoyable.
